Description
Italia Stone Group was awarded the construction of stage 1 civil works for Lot 105 in July of 2019. The Gardens Lake lands has been designed with a focus on creating vacant lots that integrate with the indigenous flora and fauna on site. The site is located between the Indian Ocean and the Kwinana Freeway. Italia commenced civil construction works in early November 2019 work were be completed at the end of November 2020.
The main scope of works included:
- Bulk earth
- Clearing and grubbing of 8.86 HA
- Cut to, fill place and compact 20 500 cubic metres of soil
- Cut to stockpile 87 500 cubic metres of soil
- 1 Km of retaining walls constructed by Italia’s retaining wall division
- Sewer works
- 1.7 Km of DN150 to DN300 installed
- Construction of 16 000 square metres of roads
- Installation of stormwater and drainage
- 1.5 Km of DN150 to DN600 Storm Water drainage installed
- Installation of Potable water pressure mains
- Installation of electrical network
- Installation of NBN
