Description
Italia Stone Group replace and repaired as section of the Nedlands River Wall from Sunset foreshore or Iris Avenue to Perth flying squadron yacht club groyne. The works involved building a new limestone revetment wall of over 300 metre, including an accessible walkway to the beach. The limestone revetment wall provided the City of Nedlands cost effective and low maintenance wall that enhanced the river foreshore, for the enjoyment of the community.
The main scope of works included:
- Quarrying of Limestone amour for the construction of Limestone revetment wall
- Construction of Limestone amour rock revetments
- Placing of geo cloth
- Dewatering
- Construction of limestone retaining walls
- Construction of concrete footpaths
