Italia Stone Group is developing an integrated management system covering Project, QA, OS&H and Environmental management. Until this management system is implemented, project-specific management plans covering the QA and OS&H requirements of individual projects will be utilised. The following operating policies have been adopted and are to be used in developing project management plans.

Italia Stone Group aspirations and the nature of the company’s activities place particular emphasis upon competence, consistency and the pursuit of excellence. To this end it is the policy of Italia Stone Group to implement and maintain a Quality Assurance Management System meeting the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.

In keeping with this policy, Italia Stone Group management will: -

• Maintain, audit, review and continually improve a Management System complying with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 and consistent with appropriate OS&H and Environmental Management practices.
• Focus on understanding Client’s needs and expectations and develop solutions to satisfy all of their requirements.
• Ensure that issues are resolved quickly and at the lowest level consistent with limits of authority.
• Provide leadership ongoing training and resources to Italia Stone Group personnel to enable them to carry out their assigned tasks in accordance with the QA Management System.
• Engage competent subcontractors who are able to comply with the requirement of the QA Management System.

Italia Stone Group management will regularly review this policy in light of changes to company operations and it is incumbent on all personnel involved to maintain their focus on consistent outcome in their activities.
